Jettime is more than happy to help guests who, for one reason or another, have difficulties getting to and from the aircraft without assistance.
We offer wheelchair assistance at all airports, free of charge. In order to guarantee that you get the necessary assistance, please contact your travel agency no later than 48 hours prior to departure, in order to have the need for a wheelchair listed on your booking. For bookings later than 48 hours before departure, we will strive to help as much as possible, but are not able to guarantee the assistance.
You can check-in your own foldable wheelchair free of charge. Please note, however, that your travel agency will have to make a note on your booking prior to departure.
Battery-powered wheelchair, a mobility scooter or other large mobility aids
If you are travelling with a battery-powered wheelchair, a mobility scooter or other larger mobility aids, you are to contact Jettime’s Customer Service prior to departure. Height of the wheelchair may not exceed 89 cm. If the backrest exceeds this measurement, it is your responsibility to uninstall it, as the airport staff are not allowed to assist you.
There are restrictions regarding lithium batteries. Read more here
Guests can always ask at check in, if they can bring their walker right up to the gate, we are not able to guarantee this possibility. In case of negative response you are to check it in. The walker will be returned to you upon arrival, along with your baggage. If you have considerable difficulties walking without your walker, we encourage you to use the wheelchair assistance provided by airport staff.
General assistance on board
We wish to draw your attention to the fact that Jettime's crew are not authorized to:
Lift or carry guests
Provide guests assistance in the toilet
Help guests with their meals
Manage guests’ medication or otherwise supervise the ingestion of medication
Protecting your wheelchair or walker
We recommend that you rent a protective bag for your checked-in wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility aids, as they otherwise risk getting damaged during the flight. Jettime do not replace damaged mobility aids and special baggage that has not been packed in a protective bag from Airshells or similar.
