Be aware of the current entry requirements of your destination
It is always your own responsibility to have a valid ID, passport, visas, and other necessary travel documents in order.
When traveling within the Schengen area, a passport or national ID-card is valid identification. Please note that not all countries accept ID-cards as valid identification. Only ID-cards with chips are considered valid.
When traveling outside the Schengen area, only passports are considered valid identification. The same rule applies to non-Schengen citizens traveling within the Schengen area.
Some countries require passports to be valid for 6 months after departure. Information regarding this can be obtained from the embassy of the respective country.
Temporary passports
Rules regarding which countries accept Nordic temporary or emergency passports, can change with short notice. If you are traveling outside the Schengen with a temporary or emergency passport, you are to contact Jettime’s Customer Service to confirm that your specific destination accepts temporary or emergency passports.
Visas
Visa regulations vary depending on the citizenship of the guest:
