How early/late can I book a seat on the plane?
Seat reservations are possible approximately 3 to 9 months before departure and up to 2 days before departure. This depends on when the tour operator sends your booking information to Jettime. Online check in opens 7 days before departure and closes 2 days prior to departure.
If you wish to purchase a specific seat, this must be done no later than 2 days before departure through Jettime's booking system. You will receive an email 7 days before departure with your seats. After that, online check-in is available up to 2 days before departure.
If you do not book a seat on the plane yourself, a seat is automatically allocated 2 days before departure.
If several of you are flying together, it cannot be guaranteed that you will be placed together on the plane, if you do not book a seat before departure or confirm the allocated seats.
Please note that if pre-ordered duty-free goods have been purchased, the seat reservation must be made no later than seven days before departure.
If you are traveling in a larger group and only want to book seats for some of the group, Customer Service must be contacted. Contact information is available here.
Book for both outward and return journeys
Reservations must be made for both outward and return journeys and must include all guests on the ticket.
If there are less than 2 days until departure, it is only possible to reserve a seat for the return journey. Of course, you only pay for one way, and the prices are displayed in the booking system.
If two people are traveling together and one of them wants aisle seat, 2 aisle seats must be reserved. It is not possible to leave window seat empty.
There are restrictions on where children and people with disabilities may sit. This will also be noted in the booking system.
Cancellation of seat reservation
If you wish to cancel your seat reservation, this must be done no later than 4 days before departure for full compensation. Cancellation made later than 4 days before departure must be addressed to your insurance company.
